Note: "FRIGHTFUL ACCIDENT.-- An accident which was likely to have been attended with serious consequences, occured at Tuckenhay, near Totnes, a few days since. As John Burgoyne, a mason, was in an oven, newly built, taking out the sand on which the dom e of it had been formed, it gave way, burying him in the bricks, mortar, &c. Some time elapsed before he could be extricated, but though severely bruised, none of his bones was broken, and he is in a fair way of recovery."
